This is so true. In retrospect, a pound is a lot more than many people give themselves credit for. Every ounce counts. Whenever someone says “I only lost a pound”, I like to remind them of just how MUCH a pound actually is and tell them to picture a pound of butter to imagine just how significant a pound is!
